The sequel to Ocean’s Eleven premiered here in Sweden yesterday, and I went to the cinema and watched it today. It’s a good film that’s definitely worth seeing. But I can’t get over the feeling that it’s just to much. I mean, the story is not that much different from that of Ocean’s Eleven (the story takes place in Europe instead of Vegas), which makes it all feel a bit old. It’s just too much “smart” action, and not as good as in the first film. This coming from someone who really likes that kind of action. And if your only wish is to see a clever heist taking place, prepare to be disappointed. It’s not at all as central as in the first film. Or, of course it’s central, but you don’t get to see as many dirty details as you did in the first one.

But, despite that, it’s worth watching. Brad Pitt and George Clooney are as good as they were in the first film. I would recommend watching it, not at the cinema, but at home. You can choose to do as Pitt and Clooney suggested on MTV the other day and pirate it, or wait until it appears in a video store near you. I would recommend waiting for the Ocean’s DVD-box (I hope there’ll be one!), because it’s worth waiting for.

As for the rating, I’ll give the film EEEe (that’s 3+).
